OnTexasFootball caught up with 4-star DL Zion Williams this afternoon.

Texas DL coach Kenny Baker spoke with Zion Williams Thursday. Nothing major of note, other than continued relationship building, and Williams and his mom are looking at dates he could visit Texas this spring. Spring Game is possible.

Same goes for Texas A&M.

Williams will make an unofficial visit to LSU March 9.

He also has a visit set up to TCU May 3-5. That will be an official visit.

Hope McConaughey is at Spring game to chat with Zion. College Station, Baton Rouge, and Fort Worth aren't really known for being prime film/theatre areas.

Cue up Wes Anderson and Eli Wallach while we’re at it. Wait, Wallach is probably no longer with us.

Gerry,

Did UT have other coaches or Sark staying in contact with the DL recruits while we had an opening, and while Baker got settled in.  I’m always amazed at how many guys mention calls with Sark and how involved he personally is with recruiting given his time demands.  Do you feel like we still have a good opportunity to win some of these DL recruitments?  Have we build a strong enough relationship with Sark and other coaches to help us while Baker plays catch-up in the relationship building?

As long as he talked to him for more than 10 minutes things are getting better😂jk

Bummer...NOW what will the Negative Nancies of Doom Gloom Agony of Defeat and Despair do with their time?
