Featured Replies

From 1971-2002 not one QB won the award. I heard there were some decent QBs that showed up during that time I think. Thats the facts.

I was one of the only ones on Surlyhorns calling this out during the season. He throws a good ball to the flats and intermediate routes, but throws a terrible ball over 25 yds down field. He's immobil

Yeah, I’m going to assume this rating will be as worthless as their FPI.

Well if it's ESPN and math it must be true.  Fvc7 them.

Since 2002 it has been won by QBs 11 times. 4 of the last 6 were won by QBs if you want to pick arbitrary dates, so your point?

you said he would have a better career. Matching those accomplishments are part of a better career and I will bet you $100 right now he never beats either of VYs total yardage or touchdowns.

Wouldn’t Quinn’s being so likely to be a bust make him the exact opposite? As if it were to be expected. What a shitty list to make anyway. Don’t people have better things to do with their time. Oh wait…👀 … what am I doing here? Where is my beautiful wife?

Quinn gets way more criticism than he deserves. People have a right to speak their thoughts. To speak only the negative attributes & not the positive accomplishments of Quinn Ewers is not a fair assessment of Quinn’s contribution to The Texas Longhorns. Quinn has handled all the negativity with poise & grace . He has represented The University Of Texas well .

Yes... I think Quinn will be a solid backup with an outside chance of developing into a decent starter. If a team takes him first round it's kind of on them. If he goes 3rd or 4th round like he should then that is not a bust. Were Colt McCoy, Simms, or Ehlinger busts? I definitely wouldn't say that for any of them. VY at #3 overall is a bit different.

Right. Said better than I did above.

It's a little depressing that we're talking about a guy who had round one pick one talk just a couple of years ago, but that's the reality. He's already made a good deal of money. If he can hang around the league for a few years at least he's done ok.
