Why is A Rod not hitting right handed?

I think I heard he wasn't hitting well against left handers so that and his hand issue might be why

  • Will never pass up a series win. Get out of Lexington and let's get the sticks back hot. Rest some of those arms who saw a lot of action on Saturday as well.

  • Credit to Ruger Riojas as well, 114 total pitches.

Here's the recap of Friday's game, courtesy of Texas baseball SID Josh White: Second baseman Ethan Mendoza drove in four runs, as No. 2 Texas took the series opener over Kentucky, 6-3, on Friday

Borba 2 bagger.  A 1 run lead isn't big enough and with 2 outs in the 8th we are running out of time to build a lead.  Need more runs.

Looks like it doesn’t matter which side of the plate he’s on. He’s struggling against lefties

Double digit strikeouts is getting old.  Now Flores has hit the first 2 batters.  Ugh.

Why are we trusting Flores on the mound? They are trying to give us an out. Bad bad baseball

Dylan does it.  Gets 3 outs and no one scores.  Might be freshman of the week again.  Now we need more runs.

Well, Farmer didn't get to finish because Duplantier got thrown out trying to steal second.  Going to bottom of 9th up by 1.

We have 12 strikeouts and only 5 hits.  Thank goodness for the 2 homeruns.

Does Jayden D have a clue on the bases? How many times is this?

I don't know who sent him but it wasn't close at 2nd.

On a lighter note, did anyone else see the Ole Miss and Alcorn State play where the Ole Miss runner on first base scored on a pickoff attempt and there were no errors?  It was hilarious.  Probably will never happen again
