Rise and shine, it’s Coffee & Football time! Today we are joined by Texas WBB Head Coach Vic Schaefer. He will be joining us very early in the show.

    Gerry: I noticed Vic told you guys he plays Kobe at the end of every video to motivate his players. I guess Curry and the analytics boys don't care the same weight. That's why watching Oats and "modern" guys play HORSE as an actual game of basketball in the current NBA sucks.

    Love these segments getting to know coaches as people. 

    As for approaching a huge game, I like hearing how even seemingly obvious points deserve emphasis. For example, even though it's a team game with interdependency, I appreciated what he said about players needing to individually rise to the moment and win 1 on 1.
