The nation’s No. 1 prospect, combo guard Aaliyah Chavez (Lubbock Monterey), is set to announce her collegiate decision in a little over 30 minutes. The five-star prospect will choose between Texas, OU, Texas Tech, LSU, UCLA and South Carolina.

The announcement is closed to all media, with the exception of ESPN, and will be televised at 1:00 PM CST.

The same people from the OU recruiting board who were buzzing during the Fasusi recruitment are doing the same thing right now during the Chavez recruitment. This seems like a done deal to Norman, but you never know.
