The Longhorns are already down to the Roadrunners, 1-0. First baseman Caden Miller led off the game with a home run off Drew Rerick.

In other news, No. 1 Tennessee trails East Tennessee State in the bottom of the seventh, 4-3.

A walk and a wild pitch charged to Rerick put a runner on second with no outs. Rough start for the freshman.

A solo home run and two walks were issued to the first three batters Rerick faces tonight.

Rerick's first pitch to left fielder Drew Detlefsen is a strike, so that's a good thing.

Texas needs to score 10 plus 

Bing gets out of the inning by inducing a ground ball for a 6-4 putout. Bing came in with the bases loaded and no outs and held the Roadrunners to just one run (charged to Rerick).

Based on the way Keith described the wind, anything hit to left field in the air has a chance.

Tennessee and LSU have tied their respective games. Vols are 4-4 with East Tennessee State in the eighth; LSU is still batting in the bottom of the first in a 1-1 game with New Orleans.
