We're off the train because we took a different one.

ISU isn't the same without Gilbert.  It isn't like Houston losing Shead, but Gilbert gets things done.

Wouldn't say his coaching performance suffered in Austin. I wish the media would insist that CDC explain why a cheater is preferable as the "face of the program."

She went along with the team to NYC when Texas lost to the only team in played with a pulse in Beard's truncated second season.  Late game meltdown.  She was said to have been a distraction of nightmare proportions on that trip.

So Beard managed a first weekend here, a couple of preseason impressive home games, a turd on a neutral floor, and a trip to Travis County Detention facility.

Not a great legacy in Austin.

UNM couldn't keep up with Michigan State on the boards.  Joseph fouled out with 2:12 to go.  I think this one is done. 

Michigan State is a very good rebounding team.  Mississippi is pants at it.  Beard will need to get his guys focused on the glass in the next round. 

S16 now set with 7 SEC teams, 4 B1G teams, 4 Big 12 teams, and 1 ACC team. 

I'm not an SEC, SEC SEC sort, but this looks like the new paradigm. 

I wonder how long the Big 12 will be able to keep up.

Well Sampson is almost retiring within the next year or two. Self probably will too…the guy we should have hired looks poised to take over the conference.
