OnTexasFootball is expecting a top target of the Longhorns to likely commit to USC soon.

With that said, Texas will not back off and just keep hanging around the rim.

USC is making a huge NIL push to get some top 2026's in the boat early and try to hang on long term. Just like they did in the 2025 class ... which was a struggle with EDGE Isaiah Gibson ending up at Georgia, and DL Justus Terry ending up at Texas.

It’s got to be Mark Bowman but like you said how many stuck last year with burnt brisket Riley

I’d assume it’s a DL.  USC is pushing “Coach Henny” (LOL), and USC focused on DL with their early stage NIL giveaway last cycle too.  Plus, the state of California grows far fewer elite DL prospects than the SEC footprint, so they’ve got to make outsized NIL promises to address the talent shortfall.

Agree with this. Also DL are easier to pluck away from them later

If it's him, I'm not as worried.  Texas has cast a wide net this cycle for DL prospects.  Same thing applies to Kodi Greene.  If it's Mark Bowman, that would sting a lot more.  Either way, there's still seven months to go before it actually matters.

I agree. But he's a bigger body type that can plug the middle of the line.

Recruit through the whistle and if by "signing day" a recruit still values NIL $ over development, they are probably not a fit for Sark's system.  One big thing I appreciate about Sark is he doesn't lead his recruiting strategy with NIL first.

Are you a female? Seems like it or a low t male. The ignore feature is a god send for people like you.

Male. Texas grad and season ticket holder 75-2015 before moving OOS

Just stating facts. You panic last July when our DL committed elsewhere before flipping to Texas
