I’m in Goldthwaite, Tex. for a basketball tournament, which is the home of longtime Texas WBB Head Coach Jody Conradt. As a player, she averaged 40 PPG during her time as a Goldthwaite Eagle.

My Jody Conradt story. When I was a student, I was standing in line behind her at a bank. She was dressed in Texas gear. I knew who she was, we went to a bunch of women's games. Even back then thought it was strange she had to stand in line at the bank with nobodies like me.
