In evaluating the coaching changes, I see Orphey as a young Terry Joseph and Akina as similar to Scottie Hazelton.  The mystery is Keynodo Hudson.  How does he compare to Coach Gideon?  Have we taken a small step back from the 2024 staff or is it a wash?

    He has more experience than Gideon. Sark coached with him at USC, so clearly he feels comfortable with the guy. He’s been a college DBs coach since 2017, roughly the same as Gideon. He’s coached at the same types of schools as Gideon (FAU, Illinois, WKU, Ole Miss). So, no, I don’t think it’s a downgrade—he and Gideon feel very similar. Plus, Sark can personally vouch for him. I’ll trust Sark on this.
