The Longhorns are going for the sweep today after taking the first two games of the series.

Another tough start for Kade Bing. The first three batters of the game have reached base, but a successful pickoff play has runners on first and second with one out.

Cole Chamberlain is behind the plate today. He and Bing got crossed up, moving the runners into scoring position.

The Longhorns trade a run for an out. An RBI groundout has Texas trailing with two outs in the top of the first, 1-0.

The pitch that advanced the runners has been scored a wild pitch.

A groundout to first gets the Longhorns out of the first. Dartmouth strands two, but Texas trails heading to the home half.

This should be a better day offensively for the Horns

Max Belyeu was hit by a pitch and Adrian Rodriguez hit a double to left-center, but that was all for the Longhorns in the first.

Bing just retired Dartmouth in order in the top of the second.

M2: Dartmouth 1, Texas 0

Chamberlain gets hit by a pitch, immediately followed by Farmer getting called for a delay in a two-strike count. That’s a strikeout for the first out of the inning.

Winfield grounds into a 4-6-3 double play and the inning is over.

The garage is no longer accessible unless you have the season ticket Foundation pass or are handicapped.

The kid that got hit by a pitch (leaned into an off speed) has a little attitude/mouth on him. Wouldn’t be surprise if he wears a fastball next time. 

Bing hit a batter with two outs but got out of the inning otherwise unscathed.

 

Ethan Mendoza is on a second after a bunt single and a throwing error put him there.

Texas is on the board. Belyeu drives one up to e middle for an RBI single. Mendoza scores from second and the game is tied, 1-1.

Gasparino lines out to center after Rodriguez’s single through the left side.

Boy, those Dartmouth pitchers are good.  We can't hit them.

Thought our bats were going to break out today.  Started to see better swings in the later innings yesterday + the weather warming up.  

Dylan Volantis is coming into the game to replace  Bing with a runner on first and one out.

Our bats outside of 3 players have been non existent
