Kobe was a 12 time all defensive team team selection. Mikey was a nine time all defensive team selection. 

Much harder to play defense as guard than any position. Kobe defended best perimeter player every game of his life. Allen Iverson, Jason Kidd, Michael Jordan, Tracy McGrady, Vince Carter, Scottie Pippen, Ray Allen, Dwayne Wade, Tony Parker, Pedja Stojakovic, Gary Payton, Chris Paul, Deron Williams. Later putzes don't count.

I want to reiterate the reason the NBA sucks now is because the man to man defensive rule was eliminated because the rest of the league thought they couldn't beat Kobe and Shaq playing man. We got Euro pansy rules now. Eliminate the three point shot and reinstitute the man defense rule and you'll have real professional basketball.

By the way Mavs goobers, loser Cuban spearheaded the rule changes that killed the game.

Cuban: I got a 6'11" German pansy who can't defend a wet paper sack in the paint. Let's change the rules to Euro ball so he can be something.
