I would say this …

The NIL discussions have yet to begin with prospects, by and large - vast majority of recruitments will play out through June OV’s

 

I do think a couple of OL’s could accelerate their timelines … but not sure it’s the guys listed.

Well and if last cycle was any indication those conversations continue through signing day in December. Early commits are fun, but in this day and age they certainly don’t mean a ton until signing day.

The sky was falling this time last year because we didn’t have momentum. When it was all said and done we finished with the #1 class in the country. Recruiting is different due to NIL and a staff that will “recruit thru the whistle” every cycle. Enjoy the ride!

I get what you’re saying & it’s definitely a different day & age in recruiting, but I still think getting guys locked in early on to generate some momentum doesn’t hurt.

100% I’m with you. I do think that getting some guys locked in early, especially the guys who are really high on us will help in the long run

It’s definitely not a bad thing, all I’m saying is even if they would commit it’s such a long road ahead.
