A 2026 Junior Day invite of note

The Texas Longhorns will hold a Junior Day on January 25. Javian Osborne (Forney, Texas/High) has already confirmed that date, and will very likely be in attendance. 

OnTexasFootball caught up with Carthage (Texas) High 2026 LB Daquives Beck Friday night, and he informed OTF that he has a January 25 Junior day invite as well. Beck, nearing 6-1 and 205-pounds, is in contact with Co-DC and linebackers coach Johnny Nansen weekly. 

Beck picked up an offer from Arkansas Friday. He now has 16 offers, including Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Missouri, Arkansas and Mississippi State out of the SEC. He reports that Arizona State is recruiting him harder than any school right now. 

Beck is teammates with 2026 running back KJ Edwards, who Texas is also recruiting.

I would be interested to know how many high school teammates on defense went to the same college and were BOTH good…no way that exists on a high level.
