Does Kern stay with his years of eligibility?

Featured Replies

I assume if we sign a kicker, Auburn has no choice but to transfer our. But with our new punter, Kern may be able to stay and redshirt next year. It's tough because this year was rough, but with more time to develop and start later..... Would he stay?

Our new punter made a comment about mentoring kern on another site. That would be ideal. If kern doesn’t develop well next year he will be recruited over. But if he does we still have 3 years of eligibility left with him

Strong leg, but needs work on mechanics.  He could redshirt, get paid NIL and get a lot better.

Either the new punter or Kern would have to be off scholarship. May be easier to just pay the new guy and save a scholarship.

Kern would transfer if no scholarship. Don’t forget the number of scholarships will probably increase to 105 for the 25 season. Will probably be official this spring.

Not something he showed this year, although he was better pre-injury.
