One of, if not the main reason Texas has to go to the portal for DL help in 2025 is because of the abysmal hit rate on the 2022 DL class.  No starters and only two contributors out of the entire Dline class.

Proof is in the pudding. While Bo Davis is an excellent developer of talent, he left a lot of meat on the bone in DL recruiting and put us behind the 8 ball.

We can only hope Kenny Baker has a better hit rate. Keeping Sharma and Charles in the class and securing Justus Terry was an excellent start. Let's see how he does.

 

Glad Texas got serious in NiL on the DL. It took time for Sark to adjust, but so glad he did. 

I see Texas having to take 4-5 DL in the transfer portal
