David Blay from LA Tech and Lee Hunter from UCF are names to keep your eyes on.

Thanks for letting me know. I've been searching through the transfer portal lists trying to see who could be a potential target. Surprisingly hard to narrow down with the size Texas wants and production.

I would not pursue Micah Hudson.  And a reminder, Texas prioritized Wingo over him the first time.

I'm waiting on 3-4 DL names to drop in the portal. If they do, Texas will have serious interest.

  • He will take some time to make a decision. In regards to Texas, I bet they kick the tires, but I don't think if they will go all out for him. Look at who Texas has pursued at WR in the portal und

Marshall just opted out of its bowl game with Army because the head coach left and 25 players have entered the portal.  There is a scramble to find teams with 6 wins to be a replacement.  Crazy

Saw that LA Tech is replacing them.

I'm honestly surprised by this list. So many thought he would go Georgia. I honestly like this kid and hope he signs with us. Speed is insane.

Also, looks like Auburn won out for Jackson Arnold, which hurts Miss. State even more, now that they lost their stud QB to the portal, LOL. Not sure how long Coach Lebby is going to stay around if he has another year like this one.

Better QBs at other schools especially Texas with Arch Manning.

One thing i learned this season from a couple of starts by arch is he LOVES the deep ball so guys like this who can pick em up and put em down would be great additions.

Well I might not go to Auburn because Arnold is there now, lol. Not sure what the other programs there have, but I know we have an elite guy following Ewers.

Manning, Nussmeier, Arnold, and two schools who don’t know who’s their QB will be.

So it’s down to Nussmeier or Arch.  And LSU just added Barrion Brown, and I doubt B.Brown and A.Anderson are interested in sharing targets with Singleton (and vice versa).

Well what we've seen from Arnold, is you're going to be chasing DB's more than catching the ball, so maybe no bueno for Auburn, lol.

Nussmeier is pretty good, but I'm sure Arch has some pull, too.

Ah I forgot about them adding Brown. Then again, you could say the same about our WR's? Assuming that say, Golden comes back? Then again, a starting WR core of Singleton, Golden, Moore and Wingo would be deadly.

Even with him back I think we need another safety.

I think if Taafe comes back and we take another guy, Fulsaime leaves. Jonah is going to play, period. D.Will won't be back fully until halfway through the season, and JJR is smart, and will be better on special teams. Looks like spots are running out to me.

This is what I'm saying. I know we don't want the inexperience back there, but we don't want to be losing the guys we have either. But that's just me being overly dramatic because who knows what will happen.

Thieneman going to Oregon doesn't surprise me, because they also lose both of their starting S's who they brought in last year.

The guys you mentioned JJR, McDonald, Filsaime and Jonah when he comes in are some guys right there. If you pair one of them with Taaffe (assuming he comes back) that could work out really well.

Filisaime isn’t going anywhere

He still has a year of eligibility

That's fine as long as you have graduated or on track to asap

David Glenda walk last year and returned.

Guy would have been a luxury.   Jonah Williams will make everyone forget about this guy existing.

Georgia has no QB and a crap offensive scheme.

Missing the point. He likely graduated and now taking graduate classes. I don't know the exact rule but that absolutely has something to do with it

Like Gerry said no excuse for being inexperienced at any position on the field if you’re a blueblood with the transfer portal being the way it is.  That being said, HS recruiting is the name of the game.  That’s your future, but the transfer portal takes care of the present.

Yeah, Gerry is always right on that. I guess we'll see what happens then.

He can walk if is he on scheduled to graduate this calendar  school year.

I have a feeling we land Hunter and Singleton next week.

WR would likely be done. I’m assuming Bond and Golden will go pro.

You can win with:

Singleton
Moore
Wingo

Next group:

Butler

Livingtone

Lockette

Ffrench

Terry

Lockett is gonna be so good.

He's freaking 240 already. What do you want him at... and logically be a threat up the seam or between the hashes? That plenty big enough to block with... that's more techniques and want to.

My b I thought he'd need to weigh a bit more for inline blocking
