If positive benefits means trading Myron Charles or Josiah Sharma for Justus Terry, count me in.

I don't know what it means, but I really don't think the staff is just going to sit down and let these things happen without doing some hard recruiting of their own.

DT is dire.

As of now you only have January who was a true freshman this year. Sydir may transfer. Aaron Bryant hasn’t shown much at all. Melvin Hills redshirted. And if Charles does flip, you only have Sharma in this class.

We can hope for Justus Terry, maybe another small commit or flip. Hope to hang on to Charles. And we always have the portal.

Says who?

WeAreSC message board throwing his name around…he was on campus there over the weekend

Aggy about to flip the 5 star wr that usc just lost. Can’t imagine going that game and saying yup..  that’s the offense for me.

Pure speed guy who tore his ACL in September.  So a bit risky in terms of 5* WR if he doesn’t regain top speed.

While it’s a possibility, WeAreLSC also said Jerome Myles never went to CSTAT. So who knows with them if their information is right or wrong.

Dang. What else does Texas need to prove?  Back to back 11 win seasons. Back to back playoff appearances. We play tons of young guys. Good grief

That would be disappointing. He probably has some of the most upside out of all the current offensive line commits outside of the gigantic kid from Georgia.

The NIL days have changed a lot.

Unfortunately winning has taken a back seat to NIL it seems. Fortunately we are supposed to have deep pockets so NIL should never be a hurdle for Texas. It comes down to how bad do you want someone, money talks..see Underwood and Michigan. Almost every player can be leveraged by money.

That would be interesting. Haven’t heard anything about that possibility.

I'd have to guess Ryan Day's future at OSU is at risk after last night, that could lead to recruitment losses 🤞🏽

I saw a clip where the OSU captain was in a big argument with Day because Day did not seem as concerned about the Michigan players antics as the OSU captain did and Day did not want his team to stop it.  That may not help Day with the players or the administration- especially the players who are from Ohio.

It's a different dynamic now with NIL now. Texas will be fine either way. Just be happy that Texas is one of the HAVES and can go fill their needs via portal.

I sure hope it’s not KJ Lacey.

While I don’t want to lose anyone, I think Lacey would be least impactful to future success given Bell is signed up for the following year and there is rumor of Manning staying more than a year more.

Texas is 11-1 after 10 wins and a CFP appearance and we’re losing commits?

Not sure I get it.

Nil and depth chart. Other teams have quicker paths starting spots than Texas.

The portal is fine. But we can't grab dl with that upside on a yearly basis because they don't hit the portal that often. And when they do it's substantially more nil to land those guys

You see why Saban retired and the Sark to NFL rumors are being pushed so hard...

NIL is one thing but this calendar is so messed up. Imagine having the draft between the end of the regular season and wild card weekend then the next week free agency opens. Makes no sense
