You've mentioned home in two threads, it has zero impact. Strictly NIL....

So it was once about winning on the field.  Check!  Then it was about building relationships.  Check!  Now it’s about NIL. It’s so true that recruiting is not for the weak at heart.  Please explain to me how we are losing recruits with a 11-1 record and a playoff birth two years in a row, but Florida is poaching our recruits and LSU is hanging on to Brandon Brown and Walter Mathis

I think you answered your own question.  Also it’s a FL - this happens with national recruiting.   Local kids stay home last minute.   Plus Florida has NIL juice.  Pay to play baby. 

I’d recommend for this faint of heart, ignore recruiting all year until signing day and see how things went, my guess is you will be happier. It’s going to be a roller coaster every year from now on.

yep...especially the 11th hour drama...you have to wonder what's next

And my guess is we only hear about the half of it. I can’t imagine the amount of BS these coaches go through just to get a class over the line.
