On the one hand, wow, on the other hand, I'm depressed that a FREAKING TEENAGER has a better perspective on perseverance and adversity than I do.

CB4 is a great, great Longhorn.

  • That makes me proud to be a Longhorn. We get caught up most of the time with the wins and losses and forget about the human beings playing. Cedric Baxter will be successful, have a great life, and imp

WOW, I think at some point in that locker room, Sark needs to yield the floor to C4 and let him fire up this team. Then go out and crush the Aggies.

We could all benefit reading the Book of Job.

Agreed. There’s so much wisdom in the Bible that could make life easier if we’d just listen.

Hoping a monster season loading for him next year! If he can stay healthy I think the country is in trouble next year.

Awesome read.   Rooting for CJ to make it all the way back.   100% class, work ethic, attitude, leads by example.   Represents UT the right way.   This has to fire up his teammates.   Hook em’

What a mature and insightful read. Man this kid gets it. He's way more mature than I was at 19 and I'm not that much older than him. This is such a great testament to his character and a great glimpse into how Sark is running this program/ turning boys into men.

J Whitt is the start of the culture … and it grows organically from there

I would say Roschon volunteering to switch to RB as a freshman was a big block in the foundation if the new Texas culture.  JWhitt switching around positions and sticking with it through all the injuries and surgeries was the mortar.

It absolutely was part of it.

Roschon is one of those guys!

Would love to have C4 and other Longhorns out for the season due to injury as guests on OTF.

Would like to see them and mainly get reassurance that they’re doing ok.

The part where he's talking about J-Whitt giving him the blueprint made me really think about Johntay and how the culture forced him out instead of allowing him to poison the well. That stuff doesn't exactly play out that way under previous regimes, especially with someone that has the talent and notoriety of Johntay.

So eloquent and emotional. The words jumped right off the screen and we all got a glimpse of what it means to be a humble servant. I'm so glad he chose to be here. Those guys are going to make him proud tomorrow, and Longhorn culture is real...#FAFO
