Broadcasting Crew: Kentucky Game

Featured Replies

The ABC broadcasting crew assigned to No. 3 Texas vs Kentucky on Saturday Nov. 23rd:

For what will most likely be the final game of in DKR for the 2024-25 season, Joe Tessitore will be the play-by-play commentator along side Jesse Palmer(Analyst) and Katie George(Sideline Reporter).

This will be this crews third straight game covering the Longhorns.

Palmer must usually get into bad car accidents and suffer bad concussions on the way to the game he calls. That would be the best explanation for his commentary during games.

I don’t mind Palmer specifically. I just think the analyst role has become too formulaic.

I think all “analysts” can over-explain and over-dramatize the game.

The best point out the line play that sprung a big run or why a receiver got loose downfield.

I loved hearing Tony romo in the broadcast booth. He did it better than anybody

I'll take Palmer over Brando 25 hours a day, 8 days a week, 367 days a year(assuming leap year)!

Absolutely correct Bobby.  I started listening to music instead of the inane chatter so many of these crews bring. Very few announcers that I like.

I saw Katie George up close last week (in her brown leather outfit) - wow, Was worth the price of admission.

If I'm not mistaken, this is ESPNs C-Team crew.  Fowler-Herbstreit A-Team and McDonough-McElroy B-Team.

Tessitore/Palmer clear McDonough and salty greg
