Tramon Mark Injury Update

Texas transfer guard Tramon Mark is expected to be out at until the Longhorns play in New York November 21 due to an ankle injury suffered prior to the Colorado closed door scrimmage October 26. 

That would mean the 6-5 guard would miss the next three games vs. Houston Christian, Chicago State and Mississippi Valley State.

Mark missed the Longhorns season opener, an 80-72 loss to Ohio State in Las Vegas. 

Seems like this happens to start every year

I can’t remember the last time it didn’t start like this or happen at the worst time. This is not a Disu situation.

We won't need him in the games before going to Barclay's, but we do need him to get time on the floor with teammates before we face real competition, so it sucks that he will miss the next 3 games.

But his long term health matters a lot more than a non-confrrence win.
