Won second set 25-15.  Took 3-0 lead before Rutherford went into the net trying to block.  Then MSU kill followed by our first return error of the match.  3-3.  I guess they were coached to really focus on picking up the serve tonight.

Back row kill by Skinner.  Third while I've been watching, and I missed the second set.

Singletary blasted one on the slide.  MSU responded with offspeed just off Halter's reach, then Rutherford sailed one hitting from the left side.

Just gGot another one here winding up the third, but lost the third set 25-21. 

Kahahwai starts fourth set and shares block with Ames.  1-0 Texas.

Texas up 9-6 pending review.  Looks like Wenaas got a finger on teh ball going out.  Yep.  8-7 Texas. 

Wenaas kill on her two handed lob shot.  Followed it with an ace.  10-7.

 

25-17 Texas in the fourth set.  Skinner finished with 25 kills and a .408 hitting percentage.  She connected on several back row kills.

Texas had only 2 receiving errors all match.

Swindle didn't play.  Kahahawai played very little. 

Missed match because of dinner plans with friends.

Website doesn't say why she sat out again, and I wasn't listening to the broadcast, so I don't know, but that is two straight matches she missed.  Kahahawai played sparingly again, so I'm wondering if there is a flu bug or something.
