With Texas sitting strong at 7-1 and still in the heat of the season, it's not too early to consider how the portal might shape our roster for 2025. With most of our starting O-line likely to be drafted, depth needed at cornerback, and potential gaps at linebacker, which positions should we target?

TE. Gonna be a huge drop off after Helm leaves.

#1 type receiver

2-3 DTs

1 corner (Barron leaving)

1 safety (Mukuba leaving)

maybe 1 LB

To me, TE and DT will be the biggest portal needs, along with a speedy #1 receiver.

4 DT’s at a minimum

1 RB

2 Speed receivers

1 punter

OT if theres a starter in portal

Additionally.....what caliber of player could yall see entering the portal at the end of the season?
