This seems to make it out to be all gabriel wanting to be closer to home (hawaii) and not being forced out to make way for Jackson Arnold.  Also, makes it seems like Venables was surprised he wasn't going to the NFL.

Interesting read, but I think it is smokescreen for the dumpster fire that is their QB room

    Last spring, Gabriel's circle (his mother specifically) mentioned that Arnold was likely to transfer if Gabriel stayed. Soonerscoop reported that.
