This is Jake Majors last year as center,"OL signal caller". Who has the experience to replace him in 2025 or do we access the portal and hope to find a good one??

I can see Robertson versus Hutson filling in next year, and Cruz will use the time to get better.   It will be year 4 in the system for both guys so I couldn't imagine getting a portal guy.

Great question ...

Center is a really deep position for the Horns. 

I do think Cruz will push the older guys (Robertson and Hutson) after getting his feet wet. Not sure it's a lock Cruz isn't competing for the starting spot in 2025. 

 

If Majors could start from day 1, then Cruz is likely our guy in his second year...which will likely be his RS FR year

I’m glad majors came back. Having an extremely smart, experienced center and quarterback will be huge going into the SEC
