NCAA Still Trying To Nix Collectives

Featured Replies

After taking multiple losses in the court system, the NCAA is still trying to eliminate collectives as part of the House settlement. The judge isn’t going for it and advised the parties to quickly figure it out.

The fact that CDC went public with the idea of bringing collectives in-house within the AD, an awful idea, rather than allowing third parties to run them makes more sense if the push came from Indianapolis.

Yahoo story.

Yeah CDC wanting to bring in house is a bad idea. Keep it independent as it provides a safety net and allows the collective to wheel and deal with parties the university may have conflicts of interest with. When I say that I don't mean nefarious organizations.
