Administrators Bobby Burton Posted January 20 Administrators Share Posted January 20 The second known offer to come from today's Junior Day was bestowed on Rickey Wright, a running back from Tyler Chapel Hill. Wright, who is 5-foot-10, 180 pounds. Wright is one of the state's most prolific offensive prospects with more than 6,000 yards rushing in his high school career. He was district offensive MVP as both a sophomore and junior. Last season alone, he rushed for 2,855 yards and 40 touchdowns. Wright and his teammate Demtrius Brisbon, who plays QB for Chapel Hill, are both currently committed to SMU. Wright has also been offered by Alabama, Baylor and Arkansas among others.
