Due to Beryl and the affects on the Houston area expected Monday, OTF has been informed that three announcements scheduled for Monday have been pushed back.

Kelshaun Johnson, WR, Hitchcock

The OTF 4-star will announce out of Texas A&M and Texas July 10. Time TBD 

Nicholas Townsend and Tanook Hines

The Delaney High 4-stars are likely to announce July 11. Time TBD

Townsend has Texas, Texas A&M, USC and Alabama as his finalists.

Hines has USC, Notre Dame and Texas as his finalists. 

 

Steve Sarkisian has spoken with Kelshaun and his mom more than once since July 4. 

Chris Jackson has been in contact with Tanook Hines more than once.

Also, Holmon Wiggins is talking to Hines. OTF is on potential offer watch by the Aggies here.

If...BIG if, we are able to get Keyshawn and add French and Lockett.  Would you still consider that a win and an elite WR class?  

Seems that would fill each of the WR positions quite well.

Probably.

I'm sure I'm in the minority...but I'm just a shade higher on Kelshaun than I am Lockett...but they're both way talented

Gerry, how much of this will come down to who offers the best NIlL deal? We all know which system will favor the best WR’s. Texas by far. Is it just all about “Show me the money” for these guys?

Maybe a little extra time is good for coaches to butter them up?

They also lost a top target recently (in June) - Emmanuel Choice to OU 

Damn Oregon playing chess while everyone else plays checkers.

 

I wonder how much NIL it cost them to cause a f’n hurricane just to delay some decisions to give them more time.

Gerry, first of all how many  actual "HI's" are left? I sure subscribers are curious. Second, what's your feeling on Johnson/Hines? Does Texas get one of those WR's?

I’m not so sure lockett and ffrench aren’t the same type of player so I definitely see where you’re coming from since it seems we possibly, maybe lead for ffrench. 

I’m hoping we can add one of Hines/Kelshaun to pair with Ffrench and Lockett.
