Michigan message boards are apoplectic right now.

The loss this morning of their S&C coach over money/length of term seems to have lit a fire.

Three days ago, it didn’t look like the Wolverines were going to lose anyone of substance to the portal.

Now after losing their HC, DC, S&C and perhaps more, Michigan could be in a real precarious position.

I don’t know what it will mean or not mean to Texas, but this is a crazy turn of events.

Yes, they could do that. Their semester has already started so Michigan can’t take away their scholarship in Ann Arbor.

Wouldn’t be surprised that Harbaugh waited to take the Charges job to prevent player from entering the portal because of other schools Add/Drop dates. The jerk for no ethics when it applies to the NCAA.

They are definitely going to lose some big names, imo. If we can make it work for Texas, great, but it's big news. Moore might've been the good choice at HC but can he make good hires on the other side of the ball?

Harbaugh timed his departure so Michigan players wouldn't be able to leave for other  Big 10 schools in the 30 window. Texas may have a shopping list, but we will have competition for those players. So in the spring after the 30 day window has closed and the portal opens again is Oregon still a Pac12 school if someone transfers or are they a Big 10 school making them off limits? You can bet that LSU, BAMA, and Georgia are salivating over the UM roster too. I only hope that this doesn't come back to bite us by having a host of these players strengthen our upcoming opponents rather than us.
