Playing out of their minds defensively more than anything. Great defense from the pitching to the fielding to situational awareness. They’re stout and playing some phenomenal softball right now. They’d give any single team in the nation fits playing like this. 

They got hot toward the end of the season and it’s carried over. 

I’ll also add this, as much as it pains me to say it, they’re much better than No. 16. If we are ranking teams on how well they’re playing without taking their record into consideration, they’re top 5-6.

Mia Scott has that killer mentality. Great job getting the lead runner at 3rd and turning two at 1st.
