Zane Rowe committed to OU today, class of 2027! 

I thought that Guillory’s commitment to Texas was a bit premature but this one takes the cake. Very talented young player though. 

How would you feel about us getting a 2027 committed right now? seems like the opposite of Texas’ strategy

OU pushing for commits early because they can’t compete straight up against us. Unfortunately they’ll get some good players to commit but who knows if they will stick. 

If it’s a sure fire “dude” then I have no problem with it.
 

There’s not a ton of those just waiting to be picked up this early. And if you go all in that early and manage to hold that class together… better hope it pans out. 

Man recruiting sure has changed. I remember breaking Lorenzo Joe’s commitment to Texas and it was such a huge deal. Not because he was an elite prospect, but because he offered before his junior season started. It was a really, really big deal.
