No doubt. But also, why does the UIL allow 5A and 6A schools to practice with pads in the spring but 4A and below can't? He obviously broke rules, but why do those rules exist in the first place?

UIL is useless as the NCAA. The only goal of the UIL it to make money and keep people employed.

Looked this up and apparently its because schools 4A and below have more multisport athletes that play in the spring so they don't want to create conflict.  5A and 6A players they say are more one sport specific so there isn't as much conflict.  Sounds like a bunch of BS though

4A and below get to start fall practice a week earlier.  5A/6A must start fall practice a week later unless they opted out of spring practice.

They should be suspending the Euless Trinity head coach after how he dirty dogged John Meredith.
