Great he won bowl games, while the program was falling down around him.

Herman is this generation's John Mackovic. He did some good things and won some big games, but he was so unlikeable that nobody stood up for him at the end of his tenure. It took a 4-7 disaster to get Mackovic fired. Herman got shown the door in large part because nobody liked him.

We had Royal Ivey on our live show in Houston last summer. That was a fun time.

I don't know if we'd get him on Coffee & Football, but I think it would be awesome if we could do something with Chris Simms. I don't believe he's done any Texas-related interviews since he left. It's time to give Chris his flowers and formally welcome him back to the program.
