Not the original poster but for me, I like some of Argentina players. but way in back of my mind hold the fact they took in top Nazi after WWll against them even tho current folks had nothing to do with it.

Mainly because although excellent football players they’re not good people. They’re dirty on the field, sore losers, and rude winners. The only silver lining they have is Messi (if you like him). If you’ve watched how they’ve behaved themselves:

1) It’s not new

2) they’re not changing

I was in Spain the night they beat the Netherlands for their first World Cup championship in 2010. That was a party that I don’t remember and will never forget

Project Paperclip. The US did the same thing. And not for altruistic reasons. MK Ultra was another offshoot with Nazi origins.

k i can still be glad it’s over as it is not a sport i am fan of and i prefer football to soccer.
