Texas 8-4 just seems natural poor Aggies. Man OU front schedule they could be in trouble early or be super battle tested before the Texas game 

I think the Sooners will be better this year. They made the playoff last year with a horrible offense and will be improved on that side of the ball this year imo.  

Ole Miss had a 6-2 record in one-possession games last year, including one-possession wins against Arkansas and Washington State.

Typically playing that many one score games and having that good of a record means regression is coming.

Texas also barely survived vs Kentucky, Miss St, and (although a good team) Vanderbilt. Next season they can’t have multiple games come down to the wire against teams you should beat

It's not the results, per se, it's the sheer number of one-possession games.

Texas went 3-2 last season in one score games . Ole Miss went 6-2.

Playing 8 one possession games in a 15 game season and having that good of a record means you got a bit lucky.

Yup a very good point. Ole Miss is one of the teams I struggle with predicting for next year
