Pay attention to Gable. He will be a star when it’s all said and done (with a super shady past).

finished Ellison with a brutal left hand and follow‑up shots in the first....impressive

People sleep on how big he is in that weight class. He is a physical specimen.

Just a massive, solid dude. Grappling is insanely good. Super physical.

He’s just relentless. I bet that dudes cardio is off the charts.

Agreed, was hoping they showed the initial exchange it looked like he caught BSD with a 2 piece then stepped off center and BSD struck out. Then on the second exchange blocked headkick and forced the shot.

So quick with it too. He makes it look effortless.

We probably won’t ever see him fight again. I hope I’m wrong.

This just sucks.

Agreed. I've done 3 acls and an achilles even if you work your ass off you can't compete in the game of survival anymore at the highest level. His body will break again competing against the best. I give him a lot of credit for trying.

Thanks to Blake for taking the time to put up the thread and keep it running!  Ignore sour, intolerant Grandpa, lol. I think he is off his meds.

Rogan just did a great breakdown on the kick and what exactly went wrong.

He’s perplexed but you can tell all three of those guys are disappointed as can be… as are all UFC fans.

At least my other guys won. I went 5 of 5 tonight on ML.

Always! We will start one for 330 when the time comes.

And lol…. My oldest “degenerate” (I think that was the word used on page 1) watched it with me. 🤷‍♂️😂

many are saying he injured his knee going into the fight ?

Doesn't seem true, he blew it out on the landing on the opening kick. ACL and mcl with meniscus is my guess

I agree, but......Fighters almost never enter a camp - or a fight --- at 100%. If Holloway had a nagging knee issue before the fight, that’s normal. If he then tweaked it worse in Round 1, that’s also normal.

Those two things don’t contradict each other at all. I'm not saying he came into the fight with an injured knee - but others are saying it. I just  questioned this

I agree but if he had a sprain which is a partial tear he's an absolute moron for throwing that kick. I think he was healthy and envisioned throwing that kick to prove to everybody he's healthy and unfortunately at his age he can't do the things he used to be able to do. Everybody has wear and tear but his knee exploded on that landing for sure. Whether it was somewhat compromised you may be correct, but it definitely went out big time on that silly attempt. He was watching too much world cup.

If he was hurt I think he would have used his hands to take off his shoes. Taking them off by stepping on the back heel is a no no when you're hurt.
