Texas Spring Game Visitor List

The Texas Longhorns spring game April 20 at 1 p.m. central on Longhorn Network is scheduled to have more than 15 combined 4-star and 5-star prospects in attendance.

Nick Townsend said he can’t attend due to regional track meet 

Same with Dakorien Moore

Kelshaun Johnson also has regional track meet - but could come after it to visit

Keelon Russell is making the visit with his dad, uncle and sister. 

No April 20 vbisit for Shadow Creek 4-star CB Cobey Sellers ... prom weekend. 

Doesn't seem like anyone on this list is on commit watch for the weekend, right?

Same time as KJ Lacey is most interesting.

Pettijohn, Brooks, Wyatt, Autry and Terry just get more attention.  I’m good with that.  

I dod think it's at least 65-35 Kelshaun Johnson visits Texas this weekend.

Did Sark et al not realize when they set the date that there would be a conflict with state regional track?

I think the challenge is almost every weekend there is a conflict.  That is why he had most of he top targets visit the weekend of 4/6.  You have district meets, regionals, state.  They the high school evaluation process starts where coaches can go on the road.  I am pretty sure Sark has thoroughly thought through this.  

Hightower's Kade Phillips is not attending due to regional track meet. 

We had Pelican State 4-star RB James Simon on the list initially. We are adding him to the list

Was asked about Denton (Texas) Ryan 2025 4-star OT Ty Haywood visiting for the Spring Game ... per someone close to the recruitment, that is not expected as of today.

Zion Williams didn't visit LSU last weekend due to prom

Cobey Seller is out for this weekend (OU and Texas tried) due to prom!

Dorian Brew has regional track meet ... will not be in Austin Saturday. 

Adding Port Orange (Fla.) Spruce Creek 2025 DL Derry Norris to the list. 

North Crowley 2025 LB Jonathan Cunningham is likely.

Not spring game ... but Texas had one of the top 2027 prospects in Arizona on campus Monday

 

Mesquite Horn 4- star OT Lamont Rogers is visiting FSU this weekend.
