84 Days Until Kickoff: Who Was The Best No. 84?

We’re 84 days away from Texas football, and today’s countdown features Lil’Jordan Humphrey, Marquise Goodwin and Brock Edwards.

Humphrey had the biggest receiving season of the group, Goodwin brought elite speed and versatility, and Edwards was a steady tight end during the early Mack Brown years.

Who gets your vote as the best Longhorn to wear No. 84?

Marquise Goodwin is the most under utilized/misused offensive skill player I’ve ever seen in a Texas uniform.

It’s scary to think what kind of a weapon he could been in an offense like Sark’s and with consistent quarterback play.

Edwards beat up a few aggy at South Padre I hear from back in the day. Gotta give him points for that.

I know back further in history there was a DE (cant recall his name) for Texas who layed out a few aggy football players on the beach down there. What he did was impressive. lol

JJ Kelly?

I didn’t know if we were sticking with the 84 theme or not.

I’ve heard stories though about JJ Kelly, Aaron Humphrey and Casey Hampton.

Don't think so. Name escapes me though. I think he passed away a couple years ago.

Shane Dronett?
