...great interview on YouTube.  Ricky said Nick Saban was his favorite coach to play for because he told you his expectations. Also, he's an avid card collector. He has six kids and his son, who is a Junior, is a player. Ricky said he's a receiver. He is a professional astrologer and stays busy writing code for astrology apps. He also does appearances and bleeds burnt orange. 

As I mentioned earlier, I was in grad school at Texas when he played for us. I had a class next to his and we used to chat it up being we were both Californians. I love the guy.

One of the most misunderstood athletes at any level in the last 30 years. One of my favorite one-on-one interviews I've ever done.

That's a sweet rookie card. 

My favorite football player of all time. I was in grad school during his run as well. Spent a night summer of 96 sitting at a table with him on 6th, chopping it up. Teared up in the student section when he broke the record. All time great. 

That 98 season is up there with any that we have and in my lifetime. Even though other teams were better, I think maybe only 2005 tops it in terms of the fun.

I love that he does what he wants. He Couldn’t care less. You know he’s not lying either because astrology is literally fake.
