He wasn't included on the postseason roster and didn't play this season. Typically, the staff is OK letting guys in that boat get a head start if they're looking to go elsewhere.

The problem with baseball portal recruiting is very few are in the know. Most throw crap at the wall and hope it sticks (see: Samford INF visiting, Watters being all Ga Tech).  The best part of b

There have only been nine guys in the history of the Texas program who’ve hit 19 or more home runs in a season. It’s a pretty significant number.

I will say, I will not care about this if our football team wins the natty. I’m fine with allocating everything to football so long as we win it all.

We have 3 of the top 50 transfers, per Kiley McDaniel. Second most behind LSU and Mississippi State, who both have 4.

Plus the #1 and #4 recruiting classes the last two cycles.

Thats on the coach look what our basketball coach did in year one. Schloss needs to fire up the donors and it doesnt cost as much to get a top baseball team maybe fraction of it took miller.

So 2 years ago it was people weren’t donating because they didn’t like David Pierce. Then we get the best coach available now we want to blame him too for NIL.

If the same thing is happening under two different regimes, perhaps it isn’t the coaches fault.

This fanbase is really good about raising and spending hypothetical NIL money.

Same with basketball.  Texas could have a 2006-07 Florida season in the two money makers.  That would be a pretty sweet way for CDC to win his first natties in the big three sports during his tenure at Texas.

They literally just went to the CWS.

making Omaha and being in the mix of winning it all is different texas was not close to beating Georgia which got destroyed by the winner.

How much are you in for?

I'm not the one crying over NIL. It just seems so many crying about it but don’t donate.

It's amazing isn't it.

That says a lot about the current baseball NIL.  His former coach couldn’t even help get him to Texas.   I get the name on the jersey is a huge selling point, but this isn’t 2005.  Money has to be there for Schloss. Every now and then they have to match and overpay a need. They few they have a really good but this is a pretty big miss.

In this case it seems to be the coach cdc got his guy and its odd that basketball was in a worst spot when schloss got here and now its in a better spot than schloss after 1 year. This is definitely on schloss cause it takes much less to get an elite baseball roster he is not doing what he needs to. him getting lockered in portal and aggy taking his coach is a bad look

When you say fire of the donors. Who are you speaking of?  Shouldn't every fan be a donor or are we just ok with spending others peoples money?

We’re still going to be really good next year. It sucks to miss on laya but we’re fine

Name our starting 9 right now

Well their biggest donors are Raising Canes and Children’s Hospitals, so they’ll never go out of business.

I mean yes in theory but we all know that these sporting teams hold private parties where donors get together and make donations so those are the ones he needs to fire up. Terry had the same issues with basketball and miller seems to have gained the trust of the big money donors. I mean im a one fund donor too but we all know most of the nil money doesnt come from that.

Schloss getting pounded in the portal😂 and lost his top assistant. Yikes.

what are you talking about. Schloss is special and even though he can’t win the big one he will get ya a tourney invite every couple of years.  we should just be happy to be a participant in the cws

I refuse to believe we pulled Schloss away from A&M and all the money they were throwing at NIL just for us to give him a hard cap on what he can work with. Yes CDC mattered but this has been disappointing to hear about our NIL numbers in comparison to others

Again why should fans expect other fans to donate when they are not donating?  Also as I said everyone complains about not enough NIL yet theor wallet is closed.

terry had issues because he want able to handle a power conference job. players didnt believe in him so donors aren’t gonna cut a check for a non relevant sport with a coach who isn’t worth his contract

I think this is a very fair criticism.

I mean I donate so I get what you are saying but it's still on the coach to get people to open the wallets thats all im saying. LSU is literally spending so much this year in all of the major men sports including a new coach hire
