He wasn't included on the postseason roster and didn't play this season. Typically, the staff is OK letting guys in that boat get a head start if they're looking to go elsewhere.

The problem with baseball portal recruiting is very few are in the know. Most throw crap at the wall and hope it sticks (see: Samford INF visiting, Watters being all Ga Tech).  The best part of b

There have only been nine guys in the history of the Texas program who’ve hit 19 or more home runs in a season. It’s a pretty significant number.

Why would the NCAA delay the opening of the portal when 90% plus of teams seasons are finished ? Just 16 teams still playing.

Why not start the NFL draft on Super Bowl Sunday? Only 2 teams playing that day anyway, right?

Football is in a tough situation with classes starting around the corner, the only fix is to move the playoffs back to end earlier - there is no rush in baseball related to classes that I know of. Timing is odd at best.

Baseball has no combine for player evaluation

Wrong on Souders.

There is no visit setup for him.

As soon as Coffee and Football is over get one setup for him to visit Texas. Ok?

Thanks Blake.

Did we just land the tech kid?  Linkin Park?

Wow, we just landed one of the best bands of the 90's/2000's? Texas really does have deep pockets.

Because while the NFL has become a souless entity bent on shaking every last nickel out of fans pockets they are not stupid

Reporting is that Coastal Carolina’s Schnall will be heading to South Carolina.

Expect the entirety of that Coastal roster to hit the portal. Some very good players in that group. Maybe we can try to peel one off from Pitching staff

Apples and oranges.  The NFL has the luxury of not having to consider school dates.

Second Summer Session is still available for transfers who want to get a jump on Fall.

Is there any kind of list on expected needs, guys out of eligibility, and draft decisions?

Pitching, catching, maybe 3B depending on moving guys around.

Don’t understand the portal opening during Regional series heading to Super Regionals.

Feels like really bad timing

The track and field portal opens during the week of NCAA Regionals too.

Third base is accounted for with Lincin, I'm not sure if we retain borba or not but he could easily slide to first.

NFL wants to own the off season.  If they have the draft at the same time, they lose months of coverage
