thoughts on this?  It's not horrible and does finally give guidelines and guardrails from the wild wild west we have now.

Sounds good to me. I'm sure the devil is in the details about how this would be implemented by the NCAA and/or the courts. 

Any plan where Texas/SEC or Big Ten has to share revenue with the likes of Tech etc I 100% oppose... Let them die...

if it's actual law, then it would be harder to get injunctions and they would have to essentially go all the way to to the supreme court to fight it.

Fortunately this makes pooling of rights optional so Cody can suck it.

Apparently only need 75% of teams to be for it even if every SEC and Big 10 school is against it..

This is from an article Ross Dellenger wrote about this.
However, as the two biggest revenue generators, the SEC and Big Ten would need to participate in the pooling of rights for projected media values to “work,” Cruz acknowledges. The other conferences must “negotiate” with the two conferences in striking “an agreement that would be attractive to them” to garner their inclusion.

This makes it sound voluntary.

That’s not true. There is an option to opt in.
