Kendall Rogers and the folks at D1Baseball.com have the Longhorns projected to be the No. 6 overall national seed in the NCAA Tournament. Texas does have a series loss to one projected national seed (Texas A&M), but the Longhorns have series wins over Auburn (No. 4) and Alabama (No. 7).

FWIW, Baseball America also has Texas as a Top 8 heading into the final weekend of the regular season.

So we’ve won the series against 3 out of these 8 teams no sure any other team has that resume…

Only two of the three. Texas lost to Texas A&M, beat Auburn and Alabama.

My bad I had it in my head they beat UGA it was Ole Miss.

That's still a good series win, though. Same with Mississippi State, which plays A&M this weekend with a national seed potentially on the line.
