With two on and one out in the bottom of the fifth, Texas has gone to the bullpen. Brett Crossland is on the mound, trying to get the Longhorns out of the inning.

A flyout and a strikeout by Crossland slams the door on Vandy in the fifth.

These 10 pitch innings at the plate are infuriating. I don’t understand this team sometimes 

It's like they've decided to prove they can hit early in the count, only they can't.

Borba gets hit by a pitch in a pinch-hit situation.

Gumbo hits one on the ground to short. Borba is retired at second and the Longhorns strand a pair in the seventh.

Leffew retires Vandy in order in the seventh.

Finally a lead off hit.

Big spot here with first and third with one out for A-Rod.
