I'm still doing a rain dance with the bullpen troubles.

Walker done pitched to two lefty’s. One strikeout , and one groundout.

 

perfect use of him, pitching change here comes Crossland 

Crossland walks one, here comes Thomas Burns in relief 

But I gotta say if Crossland only gets 1 batter let Walker try the next two guys.

Side arm action from the other side (right) might be easy to see and hit, but man he was throwing some strikes. Might have left him in .  I don’t get paid for that I know .  Gonna be pissed if we through  balls though. 

Gotta had thick skin to be a pitcher. Walk one guy and you get pulled. Brutal 

Burns gets the strikeout. 
 

3-1 headed to bottom of 9th

Not just any old guy either lol one of their best

The TV isn't showing just how strong the wind is here. 

mendoza loves that weak swing to get an auto out.

Texas up 3-1 headed to 9th

Cozart coming in to pitch for second straight day 

Two up, two down for Cozart with a couple of strikeouts.

Cozart strikes out the side in the top of the ninth, giving Texas the win today and a series victory.

FINAL: Texas 3, Alabama 1

That was a lot of strikeouts.  Finish them tomorrow

Texas strikes out 19 today, after striking out 17 yesterday.

 

Pitching looking great this weekend.

One of my favorite wins this year. Ruger gets punched in the mouth, battles to only give up 1. Offense couldn't cash in early, then couldn't get anything on Adams, but were competitive enough to limit him to only 6 innings — then we capitalized. Leffew threw strikes, Walker and Burns threw strikes, and Cozart was absolutely dominant the day after 35-some pitches. Wow!
