The heart of a Longhorn....

Goodwin truly is a remarkable human being. Will never forget the moment when he scored that touchdown the same day he lost his baby boy. Thanks for sharing 🤘

Thanks so much for posting. I'm a UT Alum X2, a Longhorns fan since childhood and a Texas season ticket holder until I retired. I was sitting in the Cotton Bowl Stadium at the Texas -OU game when Marquise caught a touchdown pass as a  Freshman and I remember thinking what a talented young man he was because he just made an outstanding play -- especially for a Freshman player.

As I have gotten older in the past few years, I have been a caregiver for my late mother and my late brother. It is difficult and rewarding, but you don't talk about the difficult part -- because the rewarding part pays its own dividends.

I didn't know this about Marquise, but I agree with 817 Boxing B and the comments by others. The man has a huge wonderful heart to go along with his football skills and World class speed.

Wow. Just Wow.

I'm starting college at 47 years young this fall.. and while I'll be going after my undergrad studies here in the metroplex, the goal is to finish up in Austin. I wanted to play basketball at UT.. a dream I never realized.. but to get a degree from there would mean everything.. for guys just like him. 🤘🏿
