The Longhorns open a three-game SEC road series tonight against the fifth-ranked Tigers.

Guevara handled a hard shot to third by Robbins about as well as you can. He couldn't get Mendoza, but he got Robbins at first.

Runner on second with two outs for Rodriguez.

A-Rod is retired on a chopper to short to end the inning.

The Longhorns leave a runner stranded in a hitless first.

The lead off saga continues 

Rembert and Fralick lead off the bottom of the first with back-to-back doubles to right.

Auburn has the early lead, 1-0.

Auburn is making great contact so far. 

Ruger gets Terrell to chase a fastball away for the first out of the inning.

Guevara with a first-pitch groundout to third that holds Fralick at second.

McCraine looks at a breaking ball to end the inning.

Ruger settled down after allowing the two doubles to start things off, retiring the next three Auburn hitters he faced to get out of the inning with the Tigers stranding a runner in scoring position.

Damage limited now the bats need to wake up 

Temo leads off the top of the second with a three-pitch strikeout.

The Longhorns go down in order in the second, with Pack popping out on the infield and Borba lining out to right.

Bat's have been pretty tired first time through the order against quality starting pitching and Marciano might be the highest quality starter we've seen this year.
