Yeah, he's up in the 70s already, it's early season, and they shouldn't let him face the top of the order a third time.

Larson moves to second on a groundout by Becerra and then goes to third on an opposite-field base hit by Pack.

Michigan State is making a pitching change with first and third and one out for the Longhorns.

Pack breaks for second base on the new pitcher, Tommy Szczepanski, resulting in a balk.

Pack is on second and Larson scores, making it a 4-0 lead for the Longhorns.

Mendoza strikes out. Pack is on second with two outs for Rodriguez.

Rodriguez hits it deep enough back up the middle to leg out a single.

It's first and third with two outs for Robbins.

Robbins works a walk. The bases are loaded with two outs for Tinney.

Nothing happening in the Michigan State bullpen.

Szczepanski will have to get himself out of the jam.

Tinney gets tied up and strikes out on a check swing. The Longhorns leave the bases loaded in the fourth.

A 10-pitch fifth for Volantis gets us to the home half with Texas trying to add onto a 4-0 lead.

Jonah Williams is retired on a groundout to third to lead off the fifth.

Good progress from Jonah there. Weak groundball, but a better AB and let the ball travel. And he was running closer to 100% down the line. We're playing the long game here, and it was always going to be a gradual acclimation; good to see it's progressing even from a couple games ago.

After Borba got squeezed on two questionable strike calls for the second out of the inning, Larson's infield popup takes to the sixth.

I still am so annoyed how many meatballs they let go right down the middle and just watch it, the swing at something way outside just mind numbing sometimes lol. Also this ump is all over the place.
