Can someone explain to me why the #1seed Texas women's team has to play #4 seed Gonzaga in what will basically be a home game for Gonzaga in Portland?

    Predetermined host site. Don’t love that there’s only 2 sites for the 4 regions but is what it is. 

    Similarly, but to a lesser extent, #1 UNC MBB could potentially play Arizona in LA.
